DETAILS ON THE RV/CAMPING AREA

  • The maximum space for your vehicle is 20x50.
  • Only (2) Vehicles allowed per RV space.  
  • Additional cars need to pay the regular parking fee and park in the general parking area
  • Every person camping at RV camping MUST have a Borderland Festival wristband..  
  • Please do not bring any tow behinds on your RV, we have limited space. Tow behind campers on a pick-up truck OK.
  • There will be several porta potties in the parking area if needed. 
  • No campfires or above ground fires 
  • No power or electric hook ups
  • No dogs or pets allowed. (Service animals will be admitted with documentation.)
  • No pump or water service or waste removal
  • Potable water available on site - there are free water stations at the festival if you need to refill your water bottles.
  • No fireworks
  • No glass 
  • No in and out for RV parking. If you leave the lot, you will lose your space. -If there is an emergency and you need to leave early, please see the Borderland Staff for assistance. 
  • Portable generators are allowed. Quiet hours are from midnight to 7am to respect your neighbors.
  • All RV campers must have a Borderland Festival ticket.
  • We are a plastic free site and encourage all fans to bring reusable water bottles. We also ask that you are mindful of your space, your neighbors, and the park. Please make sure all your trash is placed in the waste bins as well as please recycle. 
  • The camping area is close to a residential neighborhood and we need to respect the neighbors. Please no loud music after midnight.
  • Overnight security will be around making sure everyone is safe. 
  • NO DRUGS/ TANKS or other illegal substances allowed in the camping area. There is security and the local police make rounds so please be aware and respectful.

Weather is weather! The festival goes on rain or shine! We will provide consistent weather updates and prepare all our fans and artists in advance. 

230 Knox Rd. East Aurora, NY 14052 - Parking is at the Polo Fields (on Knox Road) right next to festival entrance. We will have overflow parking nearby. It’s better for the environment, you get more time to hang with your friends, and everyone saves a few bucks. It’s a win-win-win!

ADA Parking is in the VIP lot at the above address.

There will be a shuttle from the Kissing Bridge Campground to and from the festival each day FOR CAMPERS ONLY!

437 Buffalo Rd. East Aurora, NY 14052. As of 2023, Rideshare drop offs will be at the BIG RED BARNS at Knox Park with the entrance on Buffalo Road. You can enter to the festival through the Box Office #2. Follow the signs to the entrance past the dog park. This is the Borderland way! It’s safe and inexpensive. (this is subject to change)

Small backpacks are allowed but will be checked at security each time you enter the gates.

Marijuana is now legal in New York State to smoke in public spaces.
However, as of July 15th, 2022, it is also ILLEGAL to smoke marijuana or cigarettes on New York State Park properties under NYS Law. We will have designated smoking areas for marijuana & cigarettes.


This is a community and family-friendly festival so please be respectful of the law.

No outside alcohol will be allowed in the venue. There’s plenty of alcohol for purchase inside the festival though. We will have security checking IDs and all fans who wish to consume alcohol will be provided a 21+ wristband each day. We will have custom branded Borderland Festival stainless steel mugs available for purchase at merch tents. Each beverage purchased in the sustainable mug gets a discounted price. We will also be providing free, non-alcoholic beverages for noble designated drivers.

FREE water will be provided throughout the weekend so plan to bring a vessel to fill up and stay hydrated! We will also have Borderland water bottles for sale at the merch tent. To stay consistent with our Green Team efforts and our sustainability messaging, the festival is discouraging any plastic water bottles onsite.

Yes. Oh, heck yes! We will have a variety of food vendors onsite both days. Come hungry, as we will be offering some of the best of the region’s culinary fare.

We do allow small snack bags or snacks that fit in your pocket. What we don’t allow are coolers or picnic baskets. We will have plenty of amazing food options to choose from. Trust us, you won’t go hungry.

We will have ATM machines available onsite so you can get that cash money! But fear not, you don’t NEED cash. All vendors accept credit cards.

Family-friendly, fun-friendly, friend-friendly! Children 10 years and under are FREE to enter with a parent or guardian. We will have an active Kids Zone with arts, crafts, music and hoopla all weekend.

Pets, Emotional Support Animals and Therapy dogs are not permitted on the grounds, Service animals are permitted. See the policy.

  • ADA Parking is in the VIP lot.
  • Accessible seating; a section will be available for individuals who use wheelchairs or have ambulation disabilities that allow for line of sight of viewing.
  • Accessible restrooms will be available throughout the venue.
  • Sensory kits are on grounds. Items such as ear muffs and plugs will be available on a limited basis. You will need to leave a license to obtain certain items.
  • Please note we are on State Park grounds. Borderland has attempted to make the area as accessible as possible, however, some areas are beyond our abilities to make completely accommodating.
  • NO KNIVES, WEAPONS or FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND
  • NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL
  • NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OR DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
  • NO COOLERS or PICNIC BASKETS
  • NO FLASKS
  • NO GLASS OF ANY KIND
  • NO TENTS or UMBRELLAS
  • NO LASER POINTERS
  • NO FRAMED or LARGE BACKPACKS
  • NO ILLEGAL/UNAUTHORIZED VENDING
  • NO FLYERS or MARKETING MATERIALS
  • NO SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, BIKES, or ANY FORM OF PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION (We will have designated bike racks outside the gates.)
  • NO BOAS or EXCESS GLITTER! (Although we personally love sparkly things, BOAs and glitter are really bad for the environment. Let your personality be the sparkle.)
  • SECURITY WILL BE CONDUCTING BAG CHECKS, PAT DOWNS, AND POCKET SEARCHES AT THEIR DISCRETION. VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS CAN RESULT IN CONFISCATION, EXPULSION, OR ARREST DEPENDING UPON SEVERITY OF THE VIOLATION.

We will have ADA parking on site at the venue with the proper disabled parking hangtag placards. There will also be an ADA viewing area inside the venue.

Yes! The park will be open all weekend to the public for hiking, biking, walking and dog walking. The festival will be in a fenced and secured area of the Park that will only be allowed admittance with a Borderland wristband.

Will there?! We will be featuring artisans and vendors from all over the Western New York region. We will have more than 40 vendors set up in the Historic Knox Park Stables as well as craftspeople and exhibitions throughout the site. Check out our vendor page if you are looking to apply to vend.

Yes you can bring in small folding chairs! We will however have a designated area for chairs as the main stage area will be kept clear for dancing!
